Didn’t find any gear repair shops near you? Some tips for finding one include talking to local climbing gyms, gear shops, or guide services to see if they know of someone. Your local REI is also a good place to inquire about repair options. Keep in mind that many of the gear repair shops, like Rainy Pass in Seattle, will let you ship in your items for repair. Sometimes local sewing shops can help you with outdoor gear even if they don’t explicitly state that they repair outdoor gear. Small local gear repair shops often don’t have a strong online presence, making them hard to find. Take the time to hunt them down though and it’ll be totally worth it!
